Photos from our Stay in Sydney

While we were in Sydney, we stayed with a friend, Ian Pearson.  Ian lives in South Coogee which is south and east of Sydney.  His house is literally a stone's throw from the Pacific Ocean or more correctly, the Tasman Sea.  The weather was unseasonably perfect with temperatures in the 14 to 21 C range (approximately 58 to 70 F - we have to go metric someday folks!) and very little rain which was great for us, but unfortunate for Sydney because they need the water and winter is their wet season.  We've learned to navigate the public transport system here; Mary has had a great time swimming in the rock pools; we've toured downtown Sydney, the harbour and the northern areas; we've taken dance lessons from some of the best teachers in Sydney; we've walked on the fabulous cliff walk between Ian's place and Coogee Beach almost every day; and we've generally enjoyed ourselves to the fullest in this most cosmopolitan city.
