Fall 2007

We've been plenty busy this fall with lots of dancing, travel and work around the house here at 107 Magnolia.  We've been down to the cabin several times this fall and winter.  We were even there just before Christmas!

In August, we placed third at Nationals in our age group at the Championship level.  In October when this shot was taken, we won at the SE Regionals!  Thanksgiving was a Beede affair and Joseph flew back from Utah to join us.
Snow came in early December and I couldn't resist taking a shot of the house with a few lights up for Christmas.  I bow hunted a number of times this fall down at Possum Trot, but ended up just watching.  I enjoy the hunting and eating.  The shooting part isn't high on my list.

When we got up this morning at Possum Trot, the trees were covered with ice and for a few minutes everything shimmered.  Then the sun heated everything up and it rained ice for a few minutes before it was all gone!

I never tire of the variations in green in the lichens and mosses in the valley below the cabin.
...more of the flora in the valley.... We couldn't resist putting up a few lights and hooking up some batteries for a little Christmas flavor at the cabin.
Merry Christmas! Another snow storm in mid-December!

This yearling was eating our creeping euonymus for almost two hours today!
