Adelaide, South Australia

We flew back east from Perth and landed at Adelaide to visit our friends Michael and Jennifer Mummery.  We were surprised at the airport when Bill Forrest walked up behind us.  He and Khamsouk had driven from Melbourne to join in the festivities and to tour the wine country south of Adelaide in the McLaren Vale!

The Australian sense of humor can be detected in a couple of these shots.  For those of you who have tasted Wirra Wirra Scrubby Rise, you can see from the shot that there is no scrub and no rise.  Wirra Wirra also makes a wine called Mrs. Wigley (a Rose) and Mr. Wigley, who started the vineyard, had no wife!  Virgin Blue Airlines has red planes and the stewardesses wear red uniforms.  On the other hand, there is, in fact, a chapel at Chapel Hill Vineyard.
